portrait.toes

portrait.toes is the collaboration between photographer, Athina, and model, Den. This project is our ongoing attempt to make sense of the feelings we can’t always put into words. We're drawn to the quiet tension between the body and the natural world. Exploring inner struggles through this relationship, we use the landscape almost like a mirror. We're particularly interested in how gender stereotypes shape the way we see bodies and how those ideas can be softened, questioned, or undone through photography.
